Reunited and it feels so good
It’s 3.49 am. I am not awake enough to write a full post with pictures. But I wanted to share this: after a long day of driving (and enjoying every minute of it) I finally caught up with the rest of the group.
As you may have read, my car had serious problems with the drivetrain (engine, converter, that sort of things) when we got near Hamburg. I had to take it to a Tesla Service Center where they told me I would probably be stuck in Hamburg for at least one night.
The next day I was told they needed to replace the drive train (the old one will be send to Tilburg to see what went wrong) and that it would take until well in the afternoon. Still, replacing a complete engine of a car and being able to drive again within 24 hours isn’t bad. I want to give a big shout-out to the Tesla Service Center in Hamburg, and especially to Lars for the service they provided.
Around 14.00 I got the call: I could pick up the car!
I had to drive over a 1000 km but finally, about 14 hours later, I am in my room. The group is complete again!
